History of the Alpha Phi Chapter

The Alpha Phi Chapter of Alpha Sigma Tau was founded at West Chester University on March 29, 1969. Since then, the women of this organization have taken pride in carrying out our five core values; Intellect, Excellence, Graciousness, Respect, and Connections. We currently hold around 100 members on campus who actively participate in contributing to The Women's Wellness Initiative. 

As the Alpha Phi Chapter, we take pride in our strong friendships and commitment to one another. Each and every sister is someone to count on and confide in. On our campus, we are dedicated to supporting not only our philanthropies, but participating in the greek community and donating to other organizations.

In addition, we officially adopted a local philanthropy in the Fall of 2019 known as the Miss Amazing Pageant. These pageants are held in over 30 states to empower women with disabilities.
